Manage global projects on the clearing and accounting system Sungard GMI for the FIMAT group:
• FX MarketSpace and USFE initiatives,
• Enhanced Commission module,
• Statements transmission systems,
• Stress test,
• Major CSBs implementation for all managed zones (America, Europe and Asia).
Act as a liaison between our application support team and Sungard on global issues,
Attend weekly change control meetings and approve changes covering both GMI modules integration and in-house i-Series developments.
2006 - 2006Detached to Paris office as one of the European Zone Technical lead and advisor on enhancement projects for the Group’s accounting and clearing software solution:
• Merge of Back Office Environments,
• New customers onboarding: position/money line activities transfer,
• Implementation of Enhanced fees and commissions module,
• Trade Load and Referential Data improvement with third party data vendor (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.)
• Design of an Average Pricing solution,
• Training of Back Office teams on specific GMI modules.
2004 - 2006Detached to Fimat Facilities Management in Chicago, the company that manages SG's back office system for derivatives activity, I have acquired strong Business Analysis skills and an expert level on SunGard GMI, the broadly used exchange-traded derivatives accounting and clearing software solution:
• Managed developers during development and test phases.
• Ensured the IT solutions were consistently matching business processes within the framework of a multi-offices environment by writing Functional Specifications and leading User Acceptance Tests.
• Liaised between Chicago and Paris offices: acted as a key link between business team based in Paris and development and support team based in Chicago, while following up request status, assisting both ways in identifying contacts for business requirements.
• Improved processes such as Initial Margin Requirement reconciliation between SG and clearers.
• Designed and led Fees and Commissions training sessions in Paris for SG’s Derivatives Back Office team.
• Led specific module implementation matching SG Business’ requirements: NYMEX Energy Products management, LIFFE BClear facility products processing.
2004 - 2004Change management project for a French leading insurance company:
• Helped the insurance company to understand key processes and objectives of their last implemented IT solutions by training top-level managers,
• Proposed a web based e-learning architecture to improve company’s competitiveness.
