Did you know that users visit a site up to five times on average before making a purchase? This means that retargeting users once they have left an e-commerce website should be a key part of customer acquisition and conversion strategy along with the efforts in search marketing.
Criteo enables on-line stores to find users who visited their site and left without making a purchase, retarget each of these users with personalized banners and bring them back to the site, where they can convert into paying customers.
In short, Criteo's patent-pending technology allows e-marketers to re-target site visitors with customized contextual banner advertisements to increase sales, acquisitions and client's loyalty.
In this role, I am responsible for qualifying, integrating, and launching the largest marketers in the world. 2009 - 2009Omnitrol Networks pioneered the industry's first production deployments in distributed automated real-time smart agent networks for the aerospace manufacturing, supply chain and logistics industries. Omnitrol's customers have realized significant savings and improved operations efficiencies without the complexity and cost of traditional enterprise software.
The network-based solutions scale from a single location to multi-sites across client's network with the drop of an OMNITROL appliance.
The OMNITROL appliance integrates Wi-Fi mobile, RFID, PLC, Biometric and Sensor technologies for work-flow and process control automation.
I actively participated in the development of one of the new real-time solution using Radio Frequency ID (RFID) technology. The solution is based on the OMNITROL software appliance integrating device adapters, business workflow implementation, and graphical user interface to deliver real-time tracking services, dashboards, reports, and exceptions.
* Designed a generic solution to support most customers use cases in order for the solution to be self-customizable or easily customized on demand by our side.
* Developed friendly graphical user interfaces in JAVA and OMNITROL services based intelligence.
* Dealt with a complex communicating combination of relational and real-time architecture of databases.
* Written requirements for the development of a mobile Asset Tracking Application in our Indian office.
* Managed development and execution of QA test plans.
2008 - 2008Amazon.com is a leading global Internet company and one of the most trafficked Internet retail destinations worldwide. Amazon directly sells, or acts as a platform for the sale of, a very broad range of products, including books, music, videos, consumer electronics, clothing and household products.
Amazon was one of the first companies to sell products deep into the long tail by housing them all in numerous warehouses and distributing products from many partner companies.
The main part of my job was to improve a VBA-Excel tool generating sales forecasts in order to help the European Sales and Operation Planning team during Operation Planning cycles. The application is based on historic reports, financial forecasts and analyst assumptions.
* Dealt with a part of the world’s eighth largest database.
* Optimized VBA code for time saving.
* Worked closely with international teams.
* Retrieved other Supply Chain Departments requests.
The tool is used twice a year during OP cycles and includes all of Amazon EU.
2005 - 2005Created a monitoring and recording interface for an experimental setup aimed at testing (seeing) the behavior of a blood vessel when exposed to a powerful blood pressure. Worked with MS Visual Studio C++ on a Windows XP platform. A PhD student used the result during his thesis.
