Provide and organize efficient technical solutions to adapt Viadeo’s platform to the needs of partners and assist other development teams.
Reporting directly to the CTO, the Special Operation team works with very limited time frame and sometimes outside technologies.

* Viadeo.com Russian localisation:
- modified and updated internal components (JAVA/J2EE, JSTL)

* Viadeo Skills: a real-time game allowing members to be ranked according to their professional skills
- Designed and organized backend development to handle very short deadline and overseas frontend team.

* Address book importer for user acquisition (1M emails a day)
Migration from external solution to internal implementation of adress book importer.
- Led and developed an "easy to maintain" address book importer.
- Analyzed email providers API (Yahoo, Google, Hotmail, etc.) or webmail and implemented importers.
- Designed effective pre-production tests and planned production deployment with acquisition team.

* MS-SQL database transfer from Unyk.com to Viadeo’s MySQL database.
- Defined hardware requirements with the Operation team.
- Implemented Bash scripts to improve end to end reliability and error recovery during transfer of billions of records through Internet until the end of rollout process.
- Designed effective end to end tests before production (no rollback allowed).

Je suis chargé de la réalisation technique de partenariats extérieurs et de développements spécifiques (envois de SMS, Microsoft Social Connector, webservices, ...).

Mon rôle est de proposer des solutions techniques efficaces pour adapter la plateforme Viadeo aux besoins de nos partenaires.
Dans ce but, je suis amené à être en contact régulier avec ces partenaires afin de leur fournir des solutions efficaces dans des délais souvent très courts.

La réalisation rapide de ces solutions demandent une connaissance technique et fonctionnelle approfondie de la plateforme Viadéo ainsi que de pouvoir utiliser et intégrer rapidement des technologies externes à Viadéo (Visual Studio, C#, LDAP, ...)

Je participe à la création et à la mise à jour de fonctionnalités sur le site de Viadeo, majoritairement au travers des technologies suivantes :

* HTML, CSS, XML/XSL
* SQL, SolR
* Tomcat, Ant, Maven
