2005 - 2008Prepare the implementation of Actimagine Video Encoding technology for every customer. Due to the proprietary nature of the video technology, this function requires helping the customer with preparing the integration of "Mobiclip" in their existing encoding solutions or setting-up a fully new encoding suite, creating encoding profiles for their target platforms, testing the solutions and deploying the final products on their system.
Setup encoding solution for on demand and streaming encoding in customer's facility. This included analyzing the customer needs, defining processes needed on the video sources, installing the custom encoding solution, training the customer's engineering staff over a three days seminar.
Managing daily relationship with content providers, majors and technical providers.
Improve delivered products by providing quality testing procedures to the customers and feedback over experimental deliveries to the R&D department.
Preparing demonstrations and working prototypes of encoding solutions for prospective clients and tradeshows.
Providing customer support for all delivered encoding solutions. This requires creating adequate documentation for system users, integrate the new encoding system in their existing architecture, and ensure technical support for the delivered products.
Acting as the technical liaison between the France headquarters and the Japan office for the transfer of encoding knowledge regarding processing methods, encoder delivery, product support, and customer support. This involves daily communication and regular traveling, both domestic and international.
Analysing developments regarding video encoding system and video technologies by attending conferences, tradeshows and exhibitions worldwide.
