W.L. has participated in the marketing and origination of Reverse Mortgages since 1993. W.L. is a nationally known authority and guest speaker on the Reverse Mortgage subject to various service clubs, senior organizations, mortgage associations and mortgage bankers interested in the Reverse Mortgage. He founded American Reverse Mortgage® (ARM) in 2000 and made it the Fifth (5th) largest Reverse Mortgage Lender in 2004, known as “America’s Reverse Mortgage Lender®”. W.L. became a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® in 2000 and has been a Licensed Mortgage Professional since 1996.
Prior to entering the Reverse Mortgage field, W.L. was Operations Manager of Wayne Owens for United States Senate; President of HCS Corporation (Utah’s Largest AutoCAD Value Added Reseller-VAR); Northwest Region Trainer for Globe Life and Accident Insurance; Internal Control Manager for Xerox Corporation; Telephone Service Center (TSC) Manager for American Express Credit Card Division and a Miami Dade County High School Teacher.
W.L. is a Lifetime Member of the National Council on Aging (NCOA); Member of the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA) and Chairman of the Southwest Miami High School Fifty (50) Year Reunion Committee.
He is past State Director of the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals (FAMP); Past State Vice President of the Florida Motion Picture & Television Association (FMPTA); Past Vice President of the Film Commission of Real Florida; Lifetime Member Delta Sigma Pi; Charter Member Florida Atlantic University Parliament of Owls; Charter & Lifetime Member Florida Atlantic University Alumni Association.
W.L. holds degrees from Florida Atlantic University (BS Business Administration), Miami Dade College (AA Business Administration) and he has a Diploma from Southwest Miami High School. He is an FAA Licensed Commercial, Instrument & Multi-Engine Pilot. W.L. has been a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® since 2000 and Licensed Mortgage Professional since 1996. He is a Florida Native, born in Miami, currently residing in Ocala, Florida, “The Horse Capital of the World®”.
