Vincent Gillon
Analyst Programmer / Senior Software Engineer, Accenture
My educational background and experiences are unique because I completed my undergraduate work at Joseph Fourier University located in my native country of France. This school maintains a reputation for prestige and advanced computer science training. Immediately following the completion of my undergraduate degree, I continued to pursue my master’s degree in Computer Science and even spent a year studying abroad at Sherbrooke University in Canada.
Beyond skills acquired through formal education, I also gained rich working experiences in both software engineering as well as web application development through two invaluable internships.
My first internship focused on developing in Java and implementing a Model-View-Controller. My second internship involved working as an IT engineer for a rapidly growing web based company located in Fort Lauderdale called Electriduct Inc. There I worked as the sole web designer and developer using web technologies. My arrival significantly improved the sales and traffic for the site; thus, I was later hired as a full-time employee. I became adept at managing multiple projects at once and I also frequently aided co-workers and clients who were in need of technological support.
My combined passion, experience, and engineering skills make me an excellent candidate. I have a very amiable personality and the capacity to learn and utilize new software quickly. I am also methodical in my work, necessary to guide the development process with perfection inside an IT department.
