    Summary

    A CEO with more than two decades of experience in health care administration, Tim Schmidt has also spent several years with the United States Navy, where he earned a medal for his service. Throughout the early years of his career, Tim Schmidt worked with institutions such as Summit Hospital of Northeast Louisiana, Mimbres Memorial Hospital in New Mexico, and Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Texas. In 2004, Tim Schmidt accepted a position as CEO of Heartland Regional Medical Center in Illinois and, for the next five years, improved the center's medical services and increased patient admissions. Subsequently, he joined Laredo Medical Center, heading operations for the 326-bed institution. There he continued his efforts to enhance growth and patient services. Tim Schmidt supports the work of charitable groups, such as the March of Dimes and Rotary International, and also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing golf, hunting, reading, and spending time with his family. He has also begun training his new Vizsla puppy.
