I am a Vice President of Research with Gartner, where I focus on IT Channel Programs and Sales Strategies World Wide.
Today, I spend a majority of my time working with leading IT vendors around the globe assisting them with channel programs development, go-to-market strategies, partner eco-system development and the profiling of partner types. As well I provide forward looking predictions to help vendors plan for the future of IT channels and how these shifts will impact their current decisions.
I also work closely with the leading distributors on long term planning around new offerings such as cloud computing, SaaS and managed services while assisting them with current programs offered to both vendors and their resale customers.
None of my insights would be worth much without the time I allocate to the actual partners in the channel - I have the pleasure of speaking in front of thousands of partners each quarter and keep close to what challenges and opportunities they are faced with on a daily basis.
Prior to Gartner, Ms. Bova spent 13 years in channel sales and marketing roles with software vendors solution providers, service providers, Telco’s, distributors, managed service providers and most recently as the channel chief at Gateway Computers. Ms. Bova has also been recognized by industry leading publications, CRN and VARBusiness, as a leading channel advocate heading up innovative campaigns and driving effective strategy and execution for leading IT providers in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.
