About him

With almost a quarter century in the pharmaceutical field, Terry Herring brings his breadth of experience to his newly appointed position as President of Mission Pharmacal Company. Mission Pharmacal, a family-owned corporation, was founded over 60 years ago by Mr. H. N. Walsdorf, a pharmacist and an enlightened thinker. Terry Herring strongly believes that the two aspects Mission Pharmacal focuses on have led to its success: commitment to research and utilization of the highest-quality products available. Herring joined the company in January of 2010 and has since been instrumental in the growth of the company.

Terry Herring has enjoyed multiple professional successes within the pharmaceutical industry. Before joining Mission Pharmacal, he functioned as President and Chief Operating Officer with inVentiv Health. Originally joining the company in November of 1999 as their National Business Director in the Sales and Marketing team, his position soon expanded and became more vital when he was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Sales. In 2002, Terry Herring was appointed President and Chief Executive Offer of inVentiv Commercial Services, LLC, a subsidiary of the organization.
Before Terry Herring joined inVentiv Health, he worked with Noven Pharmaceuticals, Inc., as the Senior National Sales Director. In this role, he created the first sales force in the company’s history and built a strong team that focused on transdermal delivery and women’s health marketing. Herring was named by PharmaVOICE 100 for his outstanding work in the field of pharmaceuticals in 2007 and 2008.
