A longtime legal and medical professional with a wealth of diverse experience and education, Steven Pinkert is currently the Managing Partner of Pinkert & Marsh in Miami. He has assisted clients in matters related to immigration, Chinese market entry, imports and exports, and real estate, as well as purchases of large-scale medical equipment. Mr. Pinkert earned his law degree and a Master of Business Administration degree with an international focus from the University of Miami and is admitted to the Florida Bar. In addition, he can represent clients in the U.S. District Court in Florida’s Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts, as well as before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
To remain current in his field, Steven Pinkert participates in several professional groups, such as the American Bar Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He is a past board member of the Cyberknife Coalition.
Steven Pinkert also serves as Chairman of Signum U.S. Healthcare, Inc., which is based in Denver. The company develops radiotherapy centers in China. In addition, Dr. Pinkert contributed to the development and is a Partner of the Cyberknife Center of Palm Beach, Florida since 2006.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Steven Pinkert spent 25 years as a psychiatrist in Chicago. He treated clients with schizophrenia, as well as those with borderline and antisocial personality disorders. He grew up in Chicago and attended Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and remained to complete a psychiatric residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center. Dr. Pinkert earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with cum laude honors from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
