Solène CAUËT
Postdoctoral Research Associate, Texas A&M University
In September 2004, I obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur with a major in Materials Chemistry from Ecole européenne de Chimie, Polymères et Matériaux, ECPM, Strasbourg, France. In January 2008, I obtained a Ph.D. at the Centre for Interface and Materials, University of Warwick under the supervision of Professor D.M. Haddleton. My thesis work was on the synthesis of reactive star polymers using living radical polymerisation techniques.
In January 2008, I started as a postdoctoral research associate at Washington University, St. Louis, MO, USA under the supervision of Professor Karen Wooley. In November 2009 our research lab was relocated to Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. My reserach interests focus on the synthesis of well-defined functional block copolymers via controlled radical polymerization technique and post-polymerization reactions as well as the synthesis of nanoparticles for biomedical applications from the self-assembly of block copolymers in solution.
2008 - 2009Main research interests:
- Synthesis of well-defined functional copolymers
- Controlled radical polymerization techniques.
- Self-assembly of copolymers.
- Preparation of functional nanoparticles for biomedical applications.
