    With years of experience as a music director and conductor, Simon Whalley enjoys nurturing and encouraging talent by both setting and demanding the highest standards. He most recently served as the Organist and Music Director for the busy Midtown Church of Saint Mary the Virgin in New York City, where he prepared scores and conducted the professional choir. Simon Whalley has spent the majority of his career in England and many years at Oxford University as the Fellow and Director of Music at Keble College. He also led the city’s Jubilate! Chamber Choir for eight years and served as Director of Music for Worcester College. Additionally, he has directed music for the Lower Chapel at Eton College and St. George’s School at Windsor Castle. Simon Whalley studied at Oxford University where he earned a Master of Arts in Music and a Master of Studies in Musicology. He was also the organ scholar at Lincoln College and, after university, an Alto Lay Vicar at Chichester Cathedral.
