technology from the ground up and assembling a motivated team for delivery in a record 6 months.
Promoted architect as a result, to provide technical leadership to the whole engineering organization, enabling the company to win its largest contract to date.

The architect on Honeycomb, a 2009 Inforworld award-winner as the technology of the year 1. Led the transformation of the StorageTek 5800 archival storage appliance from a confidential technology, developed by a small team in the Sun Labs, to a fully released product in the portfolio.

Co-invented the technology to build a line of cheap, scalable, reliable archival storage appliances. Directly contributed to most of the components, including the clustering software, the search module built-in the appliance, legacy filesystem interfaces (NFS and WebDAV)
