2010 - 2010Management and coordination of all Brussels based activities; including development and implementation of the vision and mission of the organization, lobbying, marketing, branding, development of effective and professional internal/external relationships and partnerships, drafting of grant applications as well as management of fund-raising. Served as the primary international representative of the organization.
2009 - 2010Part of a team of 4 organizing the "Security Jam" Session. An online brainstorming debate focusing on the defense and security issues of the 21st century, organized by the SDA in collaboration with IBM and with the official support of the European Commission and NATO.

Job also entailed: Quality and security screening of candidates, handling liaison with IBM (US), communication liaison with potential interest groups, managing databases.
2009 - 2009Intern at the French Military Representation to NATO.
Drafting of official summaries of NATO Military Committee meetings, assisting a Senior Officer in representing French interests in NATO Work Groups, active participation in the weekly briefings of the Military Representative, drafting of diplomatic transmissions.
2007 - 2007Hong Kong Dog Rescue is a small animal protection NGO based in Hong Kong.
The job consisted in guiding adoptive parties, taking care of Kennels and thus taking care of the animals.
This attracted me for the purpose of understanding how an NGO really works, as well as travelling abroad and discovering other cultures. After working in Hong Kong, I did some extended travelling in the People's Republic of China.
2006 - 2006Intern at SPORTYS (the Sports Marketing branch of HAVAS).
Worked with one other person to organize the Roc d'Azur (a Mountain Biking event in Fréjus, France)
Finding and confirming sponsors. Worked to advertise the Roc d'Azur to known Mountain Biking Clubs around Europe, and took care of sending out registration forms in order to bring up the number of participants to the event.
2004 - 2004Worked 1 month at the Grand Optical store of Champs-Elysees (part of GrandVision group). First, selling sunglasses on the floor. And then switching to assistant to the product and stock manager.
And then, worked 1 month as Assistant to the Director of Pulic Relations at the GrandVision headquarters. Created presentations (PowerPoint, brochures, etc...) targeting clients, trustees and shareholders. Translated e-mail correspondence.
2004 - 2003My High School had a program where they found non-paid jobs for us during our Senior year (each job lasting 1 semester). To gain work experience and teach us some work ethics.
First, I worked at the Mamaroneck Elementary School in the library and in the classrooms. Reading to kids and helping the teachers.
Second, I went to work at the Larchmont Shore Club, a small more family-style Yacht Club. I worked as an apprentice of the Head Chef of the restaurant of the Club.
