    Prior to pursuing a career in writing, author Robert Stanek garnered a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science magna cum laude from Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu. Robert Stanek also earned a Master of Science in Information with distinction from the same school. Today, he maintains expertise in server and database technologies, in addition to possessing extensive knowledge about the Internet and Windows operating systems. Experience accrued while serving as a member of the United States Military further added to his computer and technology skills. While working with the Air Force, Robert Stanek undertook an intelligence and linguistics program though the Defense Language Institute. Throughout his 11 years in the military, he received nearly 30 decorations and nine medals, including the Air Force Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Distinguished Flying Cross, and Humanitarian Service Medal. A prolific author, Robert Stanek has written extensively about technology with a particular focus on Internet business. Ahead of his time, he wrote a book about internet publishing in 1995 entitled Electronic Publishing Unleashed. Since that time, he has focused his technical writing on servers and Windows. In addition to writing technical books, Mr. Stanek has also created a number of works of fiction, including the Magic Lands and Ruin Mist series. Overall, Robert Stanek has produced more than 100 books since his first, Keeper Martin’s Tale. Other titles include Elf Queen’s Quest, Mark of the Dragon, Dawn of the Ages, and The Kingdoms of the Elves and Reaches. Due to his skill in writing, he has earned places on Audible and Amazon’s bestseller lists.
