As a Knowledge Manager/Sr Documentation Lead my responsibility include content-research, writing,
editing and proofread the technical & procedural data such as manuals, procedures and
specifications for end users prepared by the Knowledge Management team during steady state & new
implementations of Projects. To ensure technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets
editorial and government specifications and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage,
format and style. I am a key participant in the establishment of style guidelines and standards for
texts and illustrations for MSC Global Documentation Methodology & Guidelines. Being a
Documentation Specialist, I have good hands on Authoring tools/applications such as; Adobe RoboHelp
V5 6 and 7, RightNow tool as a part of Unisys standard repositories. Also I have good hands on MS
word documentation tool.
Day to day activities include handling Technical Writers, Information Developers, providing inputs
to the team and resolving issues related to the progress of the Project, interacting with cross
site Directors, Project Managers, Service Delivery Managers, Duty Managers of clients through
conference calls, Live meetings or Via Net meetings for publishing technical documents and for
developing trouble shooting user guides for various software and hardware applications.
To identify and allocate the resources to carry out the Knowledge migration project.
To identify if the designated resource has appropriate access to all the tools required for
completion of the project.
To work with training manager to develop the training materials for the migration. And also check
if we already have the required training material in place.
To share the training and project plan with the assigned trainers to coordinate with the training
of the internal end users on the new tools.
As part of the Global Knowledge Management Office, my responsibility involves maintaining the
Technical Documentation as per the Quality Standards (ISO20000: 27000) & (Quality Management
Systems Standard ISO 9001:2000). Also, I have auditing and document control knowledge through Proquis Quality Document Control and Release Tool.

City (USA) for my accounts on quality, approach, responsiveness, responsibility & timeliness.
Have been awarded with an Excellence certificate as the best Knowledge Developer with Unisys for
outstanding contribution towards client satisfaction, timeliness and responsive service with all
SLAs met.
