Hawaii resident Nancy Lacuesta holds 17 years of experience in accounting and office administration. Since receiving her degree in business administration and accounting from Chaminade University in Honolulu in 1992, she has worked in a variety of environments. She feels equally at home with front office management and accounting procedures.
A team player, Nancy Lacuesta takes prides in her ability to improve employee morale. Reliable and creative, she can handle high-pressure situations. As the Accountant for the private Oahu Country Club in Honolulu, she managed a heavy call volume of customers seeking reservations and billing information. While treating clients with professionalism and grace, she also focused on daily audit tasks, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reports. Her position required her to generate billing statements for more than 1,000 club members.
Nancy Lacuesta’s office responsibilities have included developing forms and spreadsheets, shipping express mail, writing policies for customer service departments, and managing the operations of a hotel front desk. She has also performed general accounting duties, such as preparing manufacturing reports for managers and posting to a general ledger. In addition, Nancy Lacuesta collected tournament fees for the 2002 World Flying Disc Federation’s World Ultimate Club Championships in Honolulu. In 2010, she tutored accounting students at the University of Hawai’i Maui College in Kahului.
Nancy Lacuesta lives in Paia, a town on the north shore of Maui.
