I presently manage the New York showroom and am responsible for the sales in North and South American markets. While here, I have increased the number of doors in Saks Fifth Avenue and have also gotten several new clients to buy the collection.
I also interface with the owned boutiques (New York and Las Vegas) and direct the managers with respect to visuals, marketing and merchandising. I place the store buys with the managers for women's ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories.
I am responsible for the wholesale business in North and South America and work with all specialty boutiques and department stores in sales, marketing and merchandising. I conduct trunk shows and sales clinics for the department stores and two owned retail spaces (New York and Las Vegas). Additionally, I liaise with the boutiques on a daily basis for their operational needs.
2002 - 2007I did consulting work for five years (sales, marketing, merchandising and PR) for the following companies: Lanvin, Brioni, Lilith, Me&Ro, Peter Soronen, Megan Park.
2001 - 2002Worked to shore up eroding relationships between the comapany and their client during a transition between designers whereupon the sizing, concept, and direction of the company changed. Managed to maintain good relationships and retain clientele. Active in sales, marketing, trunk shows and clinics around the States.
2000 - 2001Managed $10 million of business in women's ready-to-wear. Set up markets in New York and Paris. Conducted trunk shows and sales clinics.
1995 - 2000Managed showroom sales in New York and Paris. Conducted trunk shows, sales clinics. Liaised with PR on special events with owned boutique and department stores.
