    Michael Kuzniewski provides professional and educational leadership as superintendent of J. Sterling Morton High School District 201 in Cicero, Illinois. During his time with the district, Michael Kuzniewski has developed a professional development plan, balanced the district’s budget, and helped to increase advanced-placement (AP) enrollment by 122 percent. Prior to his current position, Mr. Kuzniewski spent two years guiding the learning support services department as the district’s assistant superintendent. He previously worked for Rockford School District 205 in Rockford, Illinois, as the executive director of research, federal programs, and grants. In this role, he led and supported the curriculum and instruction department as well as supervised and evaluated the budgets for all entitlements and grants. Before accepting the role of executive director, Michael Kuzniewski served as a principal at West View High School in Rockford, as a principal with the central office in Villa Park, Illinois, and as an assistant principal at Largo Middle School in Largo, Florida. Michael Kuzniewski earned his undergraduate degree in physical education and health from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. Subsequently, he received a master’s degree in administration and supervision from the University of South Florida. He then obtained his doctor of education in educational leadership from Nova University in Ft. Lauderdale.
