    A veteran psychiatrist, Dr. Mark Zweifach has held a number of prominent positions in the medical community over the past three decades. From 1990 to 2007, Dr. Zweifach served as psychiatrist with Kaiser Permanente’s Southern California Permanente Medical Group. In this role, he handled duties such as inpatient, outpatient, and geriatric care in addition to leading the organization’s dementia clinic. During this time, Dr. Mark Zweifach also held a position as an assistant clinical professor at the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Zweifach earned his bachelor degree at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio, before going on to complete a master’s degree in clinical psychology at San Francisco State University and a medical degree at the University of California, Irvine. His postgraduate training includes residencies in psychiatry at University of California, Irvine, and the Langley Porter Institute at the University of California, San Francisco, as well as an NIMH fellowship in geriatric psychiatry. In addition to his work in the medical field, Dr. Mark Zweifach maintains an active presence in the theater community. A frequent contributor to the San Diego Fringe Festival, his honors include the 2012 Aubrey Award.
