As an engineer that evolved into a marketing strategist with more than 35 years experience in the technology industry I joined Edelman in 1997 through its acquisition of A&R Partners where I was one of the partners.
Prior to joining Edelman, I was vice president of corporate marketing for Oracle Corp., director of marketing for Xerox Corp. and a member of the Xerox Corporate Marketing Council. While at Oracle, I drove corporate visibility and lead management programs that helped sustain the company's 100% year-over-year growth in the late 1980's. Later, Xerox tapped me for a two-year worldwide rebranding process.
At Edelman's Silicon Valley office, I spearheaded the InSight group which was responsible for strategic positioning, messaging, analyst relations as well as market and media analysis programs. These fast turn-around programs assisted clients, large and small, to create effective and competitive strategies and meet goals for their most demanding marketing agendas. Over the years, I assisted more than 170 companies and product divisions create better market mindshare and competitive differentiation.
Additionally, I have media-trained over 1,000 executives to improve their interviewing skills to master the media. Using proven methods developed from over a decade of experience, my fast-paced, hands-on techniques have won accolades from CEOs to product managers.
