scientific codes, and 8 years of Unix (Unicos*, Linux, Irix, Solaris and Unix systems) from single systems to large clusters.

Supported the Crays at Los Alamos National Labs (LANL), and also the SGI machines after the SGI/Cray merger. Specifically programming support for parallel and vector systems, then the ASCI Blue Mountain system both programming support for this parallel system and system administration of it.

In 1997 I moved to Minnesota and did programming support and system administration. And when the divestiture started to occur in Dec 2000, I took on new tasks.

My work involved:
- Internal programming support 1991-1994.

administration at the customer site at LANL 1994-1997.
Scientic programming, C, C++, Fortran.
- System administration and programming support 1997-2005

- Data security 2000 - 2006 (as a secondary job).
- VPN and firewall setup for international offices and home
systems.
- 2000 setup Linux/firewall/VPN systems for home users.
- 2000 - 2005 - Programming support, support
divestiture/merger, system administration.

Researching the genetics and regulation of virus', like HIV, RSV, and other retro virus'. From the RNA structure prediction and verification, to gene expression. Computing to predict structure and wet lab to confirm structure.

Transgenetic fish to work on food supply research, by inserting a copy of the gene for growth hormone into line of fish, and a marker gene. Later work was into use these fish to research gene expression through out development.
