Manuel Maximino is a New York-based financial professional who has worked for Deutsche Bank for the past decade. Leading the Latin America Derivatives and Fixed Income Trading segment, he has reoriented business flow in ways that increased performance and capacities. In 2009, Manuel Maximino accepted a position with the firm as a director responsible for half a dozen trading books. He served as the main contact for the full range of Latin American structured trades and traveled within that region to direct sales.
Manuel Maximino transferred to London from New York in 2000 and retained his Latin America responsibilities while expanding his role to guide the CEEMEA derivatives business. In 2013, he served as the main expert witness in a UK High Court trial against the former employees of Otkritie Capital. The case involved fraud allegations related to major emerging markets securities losses. Manuel Maximino’s responsibilities included explaining complex transactions and market conventions before the court.
