Currently an E-business and Digital Communications specialist at Sergio Rossi S.p.A in Milan, Italy, Malikah Kelly began her career in the fashion industry at Pace University. Studying at the institution's Pleasantville/Briarcliff Campus, she majored in Applied Psychology and Human Relations. A member of the national honor society, Psi Chi, she also served as a First-Year Student Advisor, a Resident Assistant, and worked as the Editor-in-Chief of Vox Magazine.
Upon graduation in January, 2007, Malikah Kelly completed a series of internships at Glamour, Teen Vogue, and Blueprint Magazines. As a Fashion Intern, she regularly helped organize photo shoots by preparing merchandise, working with fashion stylists, and assembling model and photographer information for the magazines' credits. Malikah Kelly also held the weighty responsibility of recording the incoming and outgoing flow of clothing samples, often tracking 30 to 40 racks of clothing. Finally, she carried out several special assignments including appearances on several Glamour Magazine television segments.
In addition to her intern experience, Malikah Kelly has served as a Press Assistant, a Freelance Market Assistant, and an Editor of a fashion blog. As a Press Assistant at Reiss, she oversaw the fashion house's showroom, produced editorial press books, submitted market research, and worked closely with the company's Public Relations team. Between January 2008 and April 2009, Malikah Kelly worked as a Freelance Market Assistant at Giorgio Armani S.p.A. In this position, she carried out daily responsibilities such as ensuring the receipt of clothing samples, as well as several special assignments including assisting with the grand opening of Armani's Fifth Avenue store. During this period, Malikah Kelly also wrote and edited a daily style blog outlining fashion trends, beauty tips, and fashion industry highlights. In 2010, Malikah Kelly began studying design, fashion, and luxury goods at the Università di Bologna. She completed her Masters of Business Administration in 2011 before accepting her current position at Sergio Rossi.
