Ms. Armstrong is the President of Diamond Development Consulting, LLC; a Consulting and Training organization which provides services to families, professionals, community-involved individuals and non-profit organizations. She offers Training,Stress & Anger Management, Youth Development and Leadership Training, Cultural Diversity, Dealing with Bereavement and Grief along with other life-enhancement skills. Ms. Armstrong is also the Founder of United Parents of Incarcerated Children & Youth,which provides technical assistance training to organizations,parents, caregivers and professionals throughout the country.Ms. Armstrong has received educational certificates from the Professional Woman’s Network and the Woman’s Entrepreneurs of Baltimore (W.E.B), for the successful completion of their programs. She continues to fight injustice and helping youth and families help themselves through education and empowerment.Ms. Armstrong suffered a tragic loss in September2004 when her young son was murdered. This has led her to embark on another journey as an author and speaker. She is one of 25 women who co-authored three books. “The Christians Woman’s Guide for Personal Success” features her contributing chapter on Dealing with Death and Grief. “Women as Leaders:Strategies for Empowerment & Communication” contains her contributing chapter entitled Leadership Skills for Youth. Her most recent book “Raising African American Boys” contains the empowering chapter Enough Is Enough – Creating Boundaries for Our Sons.Ms. Armstrong serves on several legislative task forces andcommittees pertaining to reforming the Maryland JuvenileJustice System. She believes that the best way to help others is to help them find the brilliance in helping themselves.
