Jonathan Broutin is the President of the Seagull Institute (seagull-institute.com).
The Seagull Institute organizes trips to Paris and Chicago for French and American Business Students to enable them to:

BIO
Mr. Broutin graduated in 2002 with a Master's Degree in Marketing and Communications from the University Pantheon Assas Paris.
After receiving his degree and eager to discover the world, Mr. Broutin started a trip around the globe. He settled in Montreal (Canada) where he worked for 3 years for two Advertising Agencies.
Mr. Broutin then moved to Chicago (USA) in 2006 to work for the Bank of America Chicago Marathon (World Marathon Majors), a world-renown race of 45,000 runners. As part of his role Mr. Broutin was in charge of the International and Community Relations. He also worked as a Volunteer Manager and developed strategies to recruit, train and manage 12,000 volunteers.

• Manage online database, online registration, and assignments of the volunteers
• Create organizational charts, reporting and communication structures for volunteers
2006 - 2008• Develop community, city, international outreach and activation programs for the Chicago Marathon
• Coordinate with PR team to gain media exposure
• Manage relationships with city agencies, local businesses and community groups (60 groups)
• Manage international relations efforts with Tour Operators and Consulates General Offices (70 groups)
2005 - 2006In charge of: Tristan America, the Provincial Government of Quebec, the Lottery of Quebec (event and sponsorship). Responsible for the general coordination of advertising campaigns on TV, newspapers, posters, web.

Mission: developing the business of this Canadian company in France. Creation of a marketing plan. Development of a professional network of human resources Directors.
MONTREAL MARATHON
Mission: developing the business of this Canadian company in France. Conception of a communication plan. Advisory on the positioning of the event. Market segmentation, development of databases. Realization of a media campaign (2700 contacts)/ below-the-line communication campaign toward running clubs (2300 contacts). Identifying partnerships with tourism institutions, tour operators. High client satisfaction with effects of campaigns.
Mission: volunteer manager. Management of teams of volunteers who came to prepare the marathon two months before the event. Organization of the staff’s work, planning, controlling. Very good feedback from executives.
2004 - 2005In charge of Desjardins Credit Unions promotional projects. Web and print projects coordination. Direct assistant to the agency Director for launching the company. Provided help with everyday administration of the company. Responsible for finding providers and building long term partnerships with them. In charge of the agency business development by creating a communication plan and by answering requests for proposal.
