Currently employed at Landers Curry, Inc.

Award-winning general contractor Jon L. Curry enjoys life in the picturesque town of Sonoma in the California Wine Country. With a lifelong passion for architecture and building, he finds particular satisfaction in restoring period homes and historical structures. These interests led him to the construction trade, where he has worked for nearly 30 years. As the owner of Landers Curry, Inc. since 2008, he previously owned Jon Curry Construction and was a partner in the Woodside construction company Curry & Clark, Inc. Mr. Curry’s projects draw frequent attention from the media. The design magazine California Homes featured the Sonoma house he built and shares with his wife, Christine. Publications and upscale catalogues including Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, and Napa Style Magazine have used his personal homes in commercial shoots, and his work in Sonoma has earned four historic preservation awards. Jon L. Curry combines a love for art collecting and traveling on his overseas trips with his wife. Journeying to locations including Italy, England, Switzerland, Costa Rica, and Cuba, they have also purchased antiques and design accessories in France. In addition to these pursuits, Mr. Curry has remained active throughout his lifetime. Jon L. Curry played cornerback and kickoff return for his Redwood City, California, Sequoia High School class of 1983, and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1983 to 1987. His current athletic activities include road and mountain biking, as well as studying surfing techniques at Half Moon Bay and Hollister Ranch with expert surfer Randy Cone. Mr. Curry started skydiving in 1994, and has 43 free fall jumps on record. He also enjoys snow skiing in Colorado and California.
