EXPERIENCE My interest in international trade and the nexus of business operations and the law initially led me to a career in trade compliance. My legal background adds significant value to a company due to the increasing complexity of the international trade and business environment, e.g., proliferation of bilateral/regional trade agreements, anti-bribery, etc. Working for a freight forwarder/broker gave me an insider’s perspective on the operational aspect of trade, logistics and supply chain. With the rise of the rest, supply chains will only become more networked and hence present more options. I am able to draw on my economics, advanced math, technical/programming skills, and business process analysis experience to analyze challenges, develop custom tools, and optimize processes to drive results. GOALS Within 5-8 years, I'd like to be able to perform in a senior management/director-level role dealing with global trade/supply change issues.
