About him

Since 1998, Dr. John Minye has provided general restorative and preventative dental services to the Santa Rosa, California, community. Dr. John Minye and the staff of his private practice operate a full service clinic, offering procedures such as oral and medical evaluations, mercury-free fillings, replacement of missing teeth, cosmetic enhancements, and snoring prevention treatment, among others. Dr. John Minye is committed to every individual patient and ensures that clients spend as little time in the waiting room as possible. Dr. John Minye graduated from Whittier College with a Bachelor of Science in biology and continued his education and training at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where he obtained a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. John Minye also continues to complement his education and experience with membership in the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Redwood Empire Dental Society. In 1992, Dr. John Minye received his license from the California Dental Board. Before opening his private practice, Dr. John Minye also served as an Associate Dentist throughout California, working alongside Dr. Melvin, DDS and Dr. Dennis Prat, DDS of Oakland, Dr. Larry Holloway, DDS of Albany, and Dr. Douglas Chase, DDS of Santa Rosa. In addition to making sure that his office provides a safe and welcoming environment for his patients, Dr. John Minye also supports a number of charities, both within his field and unrelated to dentistry. In particular, Dr. John Minye regularly donates to The Smile Train, a nonprofit organization that offers free cleft lip surgery to children in third world countries who would otherwise grow up disfigured without access to adequate medical care. Dr. John Minye also supports the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. In his free time, Dr. John Minye enjoys staying active through biking, camping, skiing, and scuba diving. A passionate pipe organ fan, Dr. John Minye also spends his leisure time listening to organ music, and he previously served as Treasurer of the American Guild of Organists Redwood Empire Chapter.
