An accomplished pharmacologist, Dr. John Kriak possesses more than 15 years of experience in his field. Educated at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Kriak earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy in 1995 with a grade point average of 3.91. The following year, he completed his Doctor of Pharmacy at the same institution. Since 1995, Dr. John Kriak has acted as a Medical Educational Consultant with Kaplan Educational Centers, where he developed instructional resources related to pharmacology for the United States Medical Licensing Examination Step 1 courses. He also serves as a Teaching Assistant for the live online courses. Dr. Kriak has authored numerous educational articles for various organizations, including the American Heart Association, Inc., American Diabetes Association, and Heart Rhythm Society.
In addition to his work with Kaplan and a variety of medical organizations, Dr. John Kriak also developed and instructed courses for the Non-Traditional Master’s Program at St. Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. From 1998 to 2005, Dr. Kriak functioned as Assistant Director of the Masters of Medical Science (MMS) Program at St. Francis University, instructing and developing curricula for Physician Assistant students. Dr. John Kriak helped ensure the success of the MMS Program by designing various aspects of the courses, including the development of prototypes for distance learning options.
While creating opportunities for students in the medical field as an educator, Dr. John Kriak also serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and President of Cammco, LLC, a clinical consulting corporation. Founded in 2003, Cammco provides a variety of medical services, including clinical writing, grant proposals, and the planning and execution of FDA-approved research trials. As CEO of Cammco, Dr. Kriak has served many clients, including Conference Archives, Inc., RX Centric, and The Endocrine Society.
Dr. John Kriak contributes to several charitable organizations, such as the American Cancer Society, Inc., Knights of Columbus, and Food for the Poor, Inc. A resident of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Dr. Kriak enjoys cross-country running as well as archery during his free time.
