A graduate of Universidad de Carabobo, Jim Shrayef received an economist license in Venezuela. Subsequently, he attended the International Maritime Institute in Caracas to earn certification in freight handling. In addition to his academic resume, Jim Shrayef possesses a certificate of international trading from the International Commerce Institute in New York.
In 2006, Mr. Shrayef accepted the role of president at MetroAdvanta in Brooklyn. MetroAdvanta provides consumers with secure ATM connectivity services and digital signage solutions to advertise promotions and build brand awareness. Managing the firm’s corporate accounts, he quickly grew the company’s portfolio to 6,000 accounts within four years. Making the most of his experience in the financial sector, he has served as a general contractor for various projects related to auditing and managing ATM sales.
A supporter of the United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund, also known as UNICEF, Jim Shrayef spends his personal time participating in outdoor water activities, including fly fishing, boating, and kayaking.
