    Summary

    Aside from his experience as a social studies teacher, Jeffrey Maibach has a long track record of being involved in students’ extracurricular activities, especially sports. Based on his days as a wide receiver for Logan High School, Mr. Maibach has enjoyed being involved in high school sports. When he began his teaching career as a substitute in the Logan-Hocking School District in Logan, Ohio, he also served as the head football coach at Logan Middle School. In 2002, Jeffrey Maibach became a full-time social studies teacher for grades 9 through 12 in the Highland Local School District in Logan, Ohio, where he served for 7 years. In this position, he also participated on school committees dedicated to textbook review, school improvement, fundraising activities, and curriculum development. Jeffrey Maibach’s biggest contribution outside of the classroom was his involvement in the School District’s athletics programs. He served for five years as an Assistant Coach for Highland’s varsity football team and one year as the Head Coach of Highland Junior High’s football team. Jeffrey Maibach also coached basketball and was the Head Coach of Highland’s boys’ junior varsity basketball team and the girls’ varsity basketball team. He is an active member of the National Federation of State High School Associations. Jeffrey Maibach currently works as a substitute teacher at the Bloom-Carroll Local School District in Carroll, Ohio.
