    Summary

    Leveraging more than two decades of financial markets experience, Jeff Drobny serves as the chief investment officer of fixed income trading activity at Black River Asset Management, LLC, a subsidiary of the private multinational Cargill, Incorporated. One of Black River’s four principals, Jeff Drobny maintains a strategic focus on the management of hedge funds linked to global commodities, interest rates, and equities. Mr. Drobny joined Cargill in 1994 as a senior trader with the firm’s London-based financial markets group. He subsequently accepted a position back in the United States with Cargill’s directional and relative value fixed-income trading desk. Mr. Drobny played a vital role in developing the firm’s North American fixed-income arbitrage trading business, which contributes to Black River’s liquid trading capacities to this day. An active philanthropist, he supports the Edina Education Fund, which has contributed to several initiatives benefiting students in Edina public schools.
