2001 - 2005MYKROLIS CORPORATION, Billerica, MA 2001-2005
Mykrolis developed and manufactured fluid management and micro-contamination control components and integrated systems for the semiconductor industry. Revenue ranged from $170M to $300M.

-Led the spin-off Millipore’s Microelectronics Division to form Mykrolis Corporation in 2001. Successfully launched an IPO achieving market capitalization of $600m. By 2005 Mykrolis was a profitable company (14% operating income) equipped with a very strong balance sheet.
-Personally increased the visibility of Mykrolis in the industry by leveraging investor relations, public speaking engagements and conference presentations.
-Led the overall business operations (research, marketing, sales, communications and human resources).
-During the worst historical downturn, restructured the company, established market driven business units to achieve higher revenues. I also executed several global strategic business alliances and completed and integrated two sizeable acquisitions. (Extraction Systems and Aeronex).
1999 - 2000MILLIPORE CORPORATION, Bedford, MA 1978-2000
Millipore developed, manufactured and commercialized filtration technologies for various markets including the semiconductor, pharmaceutical, medical, research, life science, food and beverages sectors. The company was an $800M revenue organization with direct operations in 35 countries.
VP & General Manager, Microelectronics Division (1999-2000)
-Successfully integrated a recently acquired company (Tylan General, Span) into the microelectronics division of Millipore; revenue performance during the period ranged from $170M to $360M.
-Successfully managed the worldwide divisional P&L in 2000 including sales and marketing, R&D, and manufacturing operations. Developed business strategies and evaluated various strategic alternatives leading to the spin-off and the subsequent IPO of the division by Millipore Corporation.
1995 - 1999VP & GM, Laboratory Water Division, Paris, France & Latin America GM (1995-1999)
-Led the newly created Laboratory Water Division, headquartered for the first time in Paris, France.
-Grew revenues from $65m in 1995 to $115M in 1999. Restructured the Division and increased profitability from 13% operating income to 25% in 3 years.
-Directed the acquisition of critical technologies making the division the technology leader in its space.
-Created and executed the 1st long-range strategic plan for our Latin American operations, a $24M business.
