Jim S. Shaw launched his career as a Certified Public Accountant working with the pioneering accounting services firm Arthur Andersen & Company LLP. He commenced that aspect of his career after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, followed by a Master of Management from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. In addition to his work as a CPA, Mr. Shaw served as a construction lender for a Chicago international bank and held a position with Duff & Phelps in the firm’s Commercial Mortgage-Backed Security (CMBS) Structured Finance Group.
Currently, James S. Shaw serves as Principal of Gvest Partners LLC, a closely held private equity investment partnership operating out of Atlanta, GA. He also holds partnership in two additional businesses. One of those companies, Liquid Claims of Old Bridge, NJ, performs class action lawsuit recovery.
