    Summary

    The president emeritus of King University, Greg Jordan led the Bristol, Tennessee, institution from 1997 to early 2014. Formerly known as King College, the university expanded significantly during his tenure and increased net tuition revenue by more than 700 percent over a 16-year period. Greg Jordan spearheaded a number of public-private partnerships with community college networks in Virginia and Tennessee, and he helped create more than a dozen new teaching locations. His work with the institution included developing an Experience DC curriculum, which brings freshmen students into contact with historical and cultural sites throughout the Washington DC area. He also engaged with nonprofit and for-profit organizations in facilitating strategic planning programs spanning a diversity of sectors, including pharmaceuticals and professional sports. He served as a board member for King Pharmaceuticals, for which he held positions on the Nominating and Governance Committee, the Human Resource and Compensation Committee, and the Audit Committee.
