17 contacts1990 - 1994Mobile Log, Inc. is a Shelled corporation that I had invented a product called "TAXTRAX" with the help of the Small Business Association and 2 other people. I had gotten a loan for 2.5 million to start up this new company with a new product to place on the market. I had over 700,000+ units built, an large office and over 25 computer systems in a secure network.
TAXTRAX was a "mobile logging unit" used by taxi cab drivers, truckers, lawyers, doctors, and other people that needed to keep track of their driving logs. Simply put, this unit would listen to your transmittion by infered light from the unit itself. Once in your car it would identify it and ask for make, model, and current odometer reading of that car. Once you had entered that, the unit would keep track of all your driving from the car that you would us. If you changed cars, it would ask you again for the new information of that new car.
Lawyers and doctors could seperate the driving log by client number and so be able to bill the clients for each time they drove around for each of them.
After some years of this, I turned to get into computer consulting and focus my attention on Microsoft. Therefore, I located a buyer for TAXTRAX and made a small profit after all.
