    Summary

    Over the course of her career, neurologist Gayle Rebovich, MD, has focused on protocol development and refinement as well as dedicated patient care. She recently accepted a position as staff neurologist at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence, Rhode Island, in which role she directs the hospital's stroke program and offers consultations to assess hospitalized patients with neurologic conditions. Gayle Rebovich, MD, began this position after some time working with the Partners in Health Ebola response group in Sierra Leone, Africa. With Partners in Health, Gayle Rebovich, MD, offered neurological care at Port Loko Government Hospital and organized a survivors' care clinic in the community of Lunsar, Sierra Leone. She also worked in the district's Ebola Treatment Unit under very challenging conditions with an international group of healthcare providers. Gayle Rebovich, MD, has spoken on stroke presentation and prevention in a variety of community settings, including on local radio and television stations. She has also lectured widely before gatherings of medical professionals, and enjoys teaching resident physicians and medical students in the clinical setting. A gradate of the cerebrovascular fellowship program at Boston's prestigious Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, she holds a doctor of medicine from Columbia University.
