Between 1997 and 2001 Gary Covino served the town of Milford, MA, as a housing director with Sanchioni Excavating. In this position he worked on housing designs in compliance with Massachusetts building codes for individuals living with disabilities. Following his time in Milford, MA, Gary Covino began his career in public health as a town director in Dudley, Massachusetts. After three years in Dudley he took on a similar role with the town of Norton. Most recently, he spent more than seven years as a public health consultant serving various towns and municipalities throughout the state; in this capacity, he worked in both the public and private sectors, ensuring that food establishments adhered to Massachusetts Chapter X-Minimum Sanitation Standards for Food Establishments.
Mr. Covino, a member of the Massachusetts Public Health Association, graduated from Cambridge’s Lesley University with a degree in management and health. When he is not serving the public and private sectors he enjoys dining in Boston and regularly attends the city's North End Italian Festival.
