Retired MD, PhDAdvanced Minimally Invasive Surgery, LLCFadi Bejjani is MD from the University of Paris (Doctorat d’Etat), MA in Orthopedic Biomechanics and PhD in Occupational Biomechanics & Ergonomics from NYU. He held the rank of Associate Professor at UMDNJ, RWJMS and NYU; and Professor at the NYCPM. Taught 100+ lectures in 12 states and 13 countries, namely Visiting Scholar in China, Tel-Aviv, Addis-Ababa. He published in 5 languages: 2 books, 94 articles, and 42 international media interviews. The holder of several patents, Fadi Bejjani, M.D., Ph.D., copyrighted and trademarked the Patient Data Management Electronic Medical Record Software (PDM), which he implemented since 1991, way before anybody was talking about electronic medical records. He also has a provisional patent for a posterior spinal fusion device. An experienced New Jersey physician, Dr. Bejjani is considered a pioneer in minimally invasive spine surgery in an ambulatory surgical center. He performed a premiere in central New York when he placed two facet screws in a patient's spine in his one room accredited surgical suite, under the auspices of ISpine from Seattle in 2006. The owner and chief medical officer of Advanced Minimally Invasive Surgery, LLC, in Morris Plains, New Jersey, for four years , he has served as director of clinical research for American Cryostem, LLC, since 2013. Dr. Fadi Bejjani has specialized training in pain management, spine surgery, biomechanical engineering, and cosmetic surgery.
Additionally, he provides consultation and distribution for Lifelong Nutraceuticals, LLC. In that role, he works to open clinics in the Middle East, Africa, China, Russia, and South American markets. Since 2005, Dr. F.J. Bejjani has been listed as a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons and has been ranked among the top physicians in America. Due to his extensive knowledge in various areas of medicine, he frequently serves in the capacity of consultant or expert witness.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, playing linguistic games and exercises in different languages. He has a fondness for opera music, foreign films, fine dining on a variety of cuisines, and travel to exotic places. An active individual, Dr. F.J. Bejjani enjoys swimming, tennis, ping-pong, and bicycling with his children.
