An experienced construction contractor, Enrico Manetta has served as president and CEO of Maspeth, New York-based Manetta Enterprises, Inc., since 1991. Enrico Manetta manages all daily operations, formulates project estimates, and oversees a workforce that varies between 40 and 150 employees based on current job demands.
Under his leadership, the company executes a broad array of construction projects throughout New York City and Westchester County. Its concentration presently lies in building distribution systems for electrical and gas utilities. During the first several years of the company’s operation, Enrico Manetta directed a small crew of employees in the performance of such work as sidewalk repair, waterproofing, and various renovations for commercial and residential properties. He obtained approval in 1996 for the firm to bid on utility and telecommunications projects and expanded the company’s staff to around 30 employees.
Over the next five years, he supervised the installation of conduits to house telecommunications lines throughout Manhattan. Enrico Manetta also guided the company’s contributions to the rebuilding of electrical distribution infrastructure damaged in the 9/11 attacks. This work earned Manetta Enterprises a letter of commendation from local utility providers.
Aside from his professional pursuits, Mr. Manetta maintains an enthusiastic interest in classic muscle cars and owns both a 1969 Corvette Baldwin Motion Phase 3 GT and a 1968 Corvette L88 convertible. He also enjoys playing guitar and watching New York Mets and Islanders games.
