Scientific Applications and Visualization Group
The SAVG group works on parallel computing to enables the study of complex problems that require too much memory or time on sequential computers.

Optimization and parallelization of a cement past hydration model called HydratiCA. The code written in C++, using MPI library has been tested on several multiprocessor machines,on the NIST cluster and on the NASA supercomputer and has been found to scale very well.
