    Summary

I serve as the Internal Communications Specialist for The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). This is a new position for the system and is primarily focused on developing and implementing communications to all employees on the system-wide upgrade of the time and attendance system. Through these efforts as well as work on other small, medium and large communications projects, I am demonstrating the value and need for this role to become permanent. However, currently, it is a FT/temp position through the end of June. I accepted this position in August after leaving Virtua Health -- where I was the Business Development Manager -- due to a reorganization of the Physician Managment Department. (I've served in Business Development/Marketing leadership roles throughout my tenure in healthcare.) I am also currently an Adjunct English Professor and am certified to teach high school English. Based on the status of my position with CHOP in June, I may be seeking a transition from healthcare and into full-time education -- teaching either high school English and/or Marketing Education (for which I am also seeking certification based on my MBA and employment knowledge). Along with all of this, I am a writer of fiction novels. I have published two, completed two others and am working on several others.
