The Centre for Cardiology, Inc.’s, cardiovascular specialist, Dr. Jeffrey Sack, offers a comprehensive list of services covering all areas in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system. Utilizing the most advanced techniques and equipment, Dr. Sack offers vascular ultrasound, echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, peripheral angiography, and cardiac and peripheral intervention. He also treats hypertension, congestive heart failure, peripheral arterial disease, and coronary artery disease. Dr. Sack also provides patients with stress testing, pacemakers, and atrial fibrillation treatment. Currently practicing solo at his center in Sarasota, Florida, Dr. Jeffrey Sack used to operate at the Sarasota Heart Clinic, the Heart Center of Sarasota, and the Centre for Angiography, LLC, where he held the title of Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.
Board certified in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine, Dr. Jeffrey Sack became a diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in 1990. Dr. Jeffrey Sack has been the House Physician at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, the VA Medical Center in Aspinwall, Pennsylvania, and St. Clair Hospital in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania. He also worked in the emergency room at the Albert Einstein Medical Center and the Northeastern Hospital, both in Philadelphia. In addition, Dr. Jeffrey Sack remains on the active staff at the Doctors Hospital of Sarasota and the Sarasota Memorial Hospital after 18 years, where he practices invasive cardiology.
The winner of the 1990 Clinical Abstract Competition held by the American College of Physicians’ New Jersey Chapter, Dr. Jeffrey Sack also won the Associates Research Competition at the 73rd Annual Scientific Session of the American College of Physicians in 1992 for his work in the field of human CPR and cardiac arrest. He holds fellowship with the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Angiology, the American Society of Angiology, the American College of Chest Physicians, and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. Furthermore, Dr. Jeffrey Sack possesses membership with the American Heart Association, the American Medical Association, the American Society for Artificial Internal Organs, and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.
In his spare time, Dr. Jeffrey Sack enjoys boating, playing tennis, and skiing. He volunteers at the Temple Beth Shalom in Sarasota and performs classical and jazz guitar professionally. Additionally, Dr. Jeffrey Sack holds commercial and multi-engine pilot licenses.
