    Dr. Jean-Paul Guiboux practices medicine of the hands and upper extremities in Novi, Michigan. Dedicated to providing high-quality patient care, he treats adults and children alike and possesses particular experience in handling rheumatological conditions, neurological disorders, trauma, microvascular reconstruction, carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures, and sports injuries. Dr. Jean-Paul Guiboux’s credentials include a BS in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Michigan, an MD from the University of Michigan Medical School, board certification, and a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery. At his practice, Michigan Hand and Wrist, P.C., Jean-Paul Guiboux, MD, works with two other MDs to provide a wide array of treatment options. The three doctors handle tendon lacerations, fractures, arthroscopy, joint replacement for arthritis, microsurgery, and more, always focusing on nonsurgical alternatives when they can. Dr. Guiboux founded Michigan Hand and Wrist in 2001. Eleven years later, the practice offers a rehabilitation center run by a longtime provider of upper extremity therapy, accepts every major insurance plan, and stays open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Between graduating from the University of Michigan and opening Michigan Hand and Wrist, Jean-Paul Guiboux, MD, performed a residency at William Beaumont Hospital and gained additional training in hand and upper extremity surgery during a fellowship at Philadelphia’s Thomas Jefferson University. Today, he holds memberships in the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the Michigan State Medical Society, and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Over the course of his career, he has written multiple articles on orthopedics for peer-reviewed journals and won awards for his presentations at meetings around the world.
