Songwriter, composer, singer and guitarist, Dicko was born in Kinshasa, DR Congo formerly Zaïre (Africa). He started his involvement with music so young that he had his first performance in a church at the age of ten. Music has always been the major thing in his life. When he was 12, he started working with bands in Kinshasa. Afterward, Dicko started working in the recording studio (Sango Malamu) when he was 15 years old.
After several musical performances throughout Africa, he moved to United States.
So now living in Boston, he’s known as the ambassador of African culture in US. He provides age-appropriate analysis of his cultural background, including the development of the world music and dances. with him! you gonna love music.
