Darin Pastor's career encompasses over 20 years of experience as a manager, entrepreneur, and financial services professional. Before accepting his current position as the Managing Director at Prudential Financial in 2011, Mr. Pastor was a Territory Sales Manager at Colonial Life.
From 2006 to 2010, Darin Pastor was a Senior Vice President/Senior Investment Manager at JPMorgan Chase. He received several awards and honors during his time at JPMorgan Chase, including recognition for selling more proprietary products than any other market in the country and having the highest sales penetration of the customer base. Mr. Pastor's division was ranked first in the United States in overall compliance, responsiveness, awareness, and effectiveness. In both 2007 and 2008, Darin Pastor was recognized as the top investment manager in the country on the basis of year-over-year sales growth.
Darin Pastor's entrepreneurial experience includes working as the Division Manager/owner of Pepsi-Cola Buffalo Bottling Corp. from 1989 to 1996. From 1996 to 2004, he was the owner of American Mortgage Affiliates, a company that provided insurance, mutual funds, mortgage, and financial planning services.
Darin Pastor attended the undergraduate program at Drexel University in Pennsylvania. He went on to complete his postgraduate studies at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. Subsequently, he earned several certificates from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, including certificates in Mergers and Acquisitions; Negotiation: Bargaining for Advantage; Professional Development; Strategic Persuasion; and Leading the Effective Sales Force. Additionally, he holds a valid health and life insurance license and FINRA Series 7, 66, 63, 6, and 24 licenses.
