Senior Strategy Consultant
Daniel J Steketee is a Senior Consultant for Meradia Group, Inc and is currently responsible for assisting Meradia clients with large-scale strategic and tactical initiatives and managing those initiatives to completion. During his tenure, Mr. Steketee’s project experience has primarily focused on business process management, client reporting, performance measurement, workflow automation, strategic planning, and project implementations within the front and middle-office space. Previously, Mr. Steketee spent over ten years in various analytical and consulting capacities at firms including, but not limited to: ByAllAccounts, Stax Inc., and Cambridge Associates. Daniel also has extensive experience advising young entrepreneurial companies, including mobiLIFE Inc. and Vendor Risk,in the areas of product development, process management, brand launches, etc. Mr. Steketee holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts.
Operational Efficiency & Vendor Selection Analysis Project
Assessed and analyzed the entire operational environment for a Trust department in order to make it scalable and operationally efficient. Provided issue triage and ranking analysis, recordkeeping and client reporting expertise, and vendor scorecard and risk analysis.
Client Reporting Development, Analysis, & Implementation Project
Played a key role in the definition, design, development, implementation and production-release of a highly sophisticated proprietary client reporting platform.
Standard Processes and Procedures Project
Assisted with the development of an interactive User Interface used to store standard operating processes and procedures via Microsoft SharePoint.
Business Process Optimization Project
Designed and created a complete end-to-end BPM solution for the performance operations, client service, and data management teams to communicate with each other. The solution entails high-level executive reporting metrics, audit checks, client reporting, and real-time exception processing.
Performance Measurement Implementation Project
Played a key role in a DSTi HiPerformance implementation with focus on the design & development of the web based performance reporting tool. Ensured smooth coordination between the IT teams (in-house and DST) and the end-users by engaging in regular status reviews and by following a rigorous escalation mechanism, as required. Put together high-level statistical metrics for senior level management. Performed issue triage, created procedural documentation, and assisted the internal team with developing their daily and month-end review processes.

2004 - 2006Advised and assisted ByAllAccounts with developing and enhancing their core product and service-level offerings. ByAllAccounts engines feed investment data to performance and client reporting systems including: Advent AXYS/APX, Schwab Performance Technologies PortfolioCenter/Centerpiece, SmartStream TLM, INDATA – and other proprietary systems.
1997 - 2000Managed 23 client relationships. Analyzed and presented client-specific reports to endowed universities, high net worth family trusts, and other not-for-profit institutions.
Interacted daily with clients and consultants to keep them abreast of investment policy and asset allocation decisions. Selected appropriate manager benchmarks for future comparative analyses.
