Dahn Yoga Focuses on Experience
Instead of asking students to learn from books or lengthy lectures, Dahn Yoga teaches through experience. Participants use meditation, yoga, guided interactions, and other exercises to get closer to their original minds. This allows them to experience the depth of peace inside them. Without this experience, it is nearly impossible for someone to understand the true merits of Dahn Yoga, ki energy training, and Brain Education.
The Roots of Dahn Yoga
Many of the concepts used in Dahn Yoga come from an ancient Korean tradition called Sun Do. The understanding of ki has its roots in a 9000-year-old Korean document called Chun Bu Kyung. Until 1980, when Ilchi Lee founded Dahn Yoga, these concepts had not been incorporated with the modern understanding of brain function and health.
Dahn Yoga Classes
Dahn Yoga gives students the tools needed to make positive transformations in their lives. As participants experience the benefits of Dahn Yoga, they gain a deeper understanding of peacefulness and living without stress. The physical and mental benefits must be experienced before you can fully understand them. Even people with physical disabilities can participate in Dahn Yoga classes. Every move can be altered to meet the limitations of students. This makes it possible for all people to reap the benefits that come from Brain Education and ki energy training.
