2001 - 2002Major Functions: Overall preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance and repair of shipboard equipment; repair or replacement of parts; documentation of maintenance and repairs; supervision of all engine room personnel
1998 - 2001Major Functions: Complete responsibility for all operations, maintenance and repairs of engineering equipment throughout the ship; budget management; acquisition and management of spare parts; determination of requirements for fuel, lube oil and other consumables; safety management; personnel supervision; oversight of inspections (Coast Guard, Port Control and ABS).
1990 - 1998Major Functions: Cargo loading and discharge; maintenance of cryogenic systems, vaporizers, cargo system valves, piping, electronics, inert gas systems, gas detection systems and gas compressors; additional responsibility for onboard boiloff handling, level measurement, vessel and terminal interface and custody transfer; overall preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance and repair of shipboard equipment, including pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, refrigeration systems and main engines; repair or replacement of broken parts; instrument calibration, installation and design, to include pneumatic loops, microprocessor loops, PLCs and APACs; supervision of all engine room personnel.
